It is the classic view of the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, across the tidal basin of the Potomac river, in Washington, DC. It is a beautiful summertime afternoon and the cicada's are rolling though their song. If you ever get the chance to visit this memorial, plan to spend 20 minutes or so, simply reading all the writings on the wall. He was quite a guy.
